In this two day workshop, you'll learn to make a garden basket for harvesting cut flowers. A little basketry experience would be helpful here, but not absolutely necessary.

This is a lovely basket, and a great introduction to 'square work'. You will be taught the skills to make a square base on a jig, how to weave a 3-rod wale, how to do packing for the sides, how to do a square work border, and how to make a wrapped handle to complete your basket. All materials and tools will be provided, as will lunch, along with drinks and snacks during the day. The course takes place at my home workshop.
